Just received an email from Polar Heart Monitors...I got a Pro-Deal from them! Yeah.

I started to learn how to repair my bicycle...in more detail then ever. Before I could repair flat tires (much more than I would ever want to) and adjust the chain/gears if things weren't working properly. Now I can competely take apart the front axle/hub, clean it and put it back together. :)

I posted an ad on Adventure Cycling's website looking for companions. Have had two inquiries. I hope something works out. The last trip was quite lonely sometimes. This time I will be out much longer stints with no one around. The one worry I have (with companions) is that due to my heart surgery I have lost a lot of physical endurance. I know I have regained much of it, but may not be as fast as others...hope someone is my speed.

I go back into work Wednesday the 23rd and get off work January the 6th. So much on my list to do...

Only about 12 time offs until I leave! So much to do...not a lot of time. I looked into setting up a PayPal account on this blogsite to ACHA and there is a small fee. I would rather have anone who chooses to donate have all their money go to ACHA. Here is the website.
